The Lake’ at Montego Bay Community (Lakes By The Bay) Cutler Bay, Florida.
It’s a man-made lake, but we simply call it The Lake which is probably one of the best kept secrets in our small community. If you have a lakefront property, this is what many of The Lake residents wake up to almost on a daily basis. So calm, so peaceful, so beautiful. Keep in mind that this is Florida (South Florida to be exact) so the temperature is usually 70 – 85 degrees except during the winter months when it will drop down to 60 – 65 degrees at night time. I went for a walk around The Lake several days ago and, although I have a multitude of pics of The Lake, somehow that morning everything looked and felt so differently. It’s a three mile walk around The Lake so much so that at 5:30 in the morning, you really feel alone (lol). Since 2005 I’ve been traveling at least six months out of the year, so I really look forward to getting back to The Lake, back to this little scenic gem I’ve been enjoying for almost two decades. (Just thought I’d shoot a few frames to add to the 200 plus Lake Images I already have in my portfolio).
