Late afternoon light bursts through the mountain ash and mist on the Black Spur road between Healesville and Marysville on the way home from a recent mid-week shoot with friend and fellow bubbler Nick Skinner. Capturing the moment became paramount when we saw the light breaking through the trees, which meant standing on the narrow strip of road between the lines and the steel barrier with our tripods in the grass and avoiding getting hit by cars.
