Drawing inspiration from the late, great Galen Rowell with heavy use of grad filters. A seldom photographed location pointed out to me by friend and fellow bubbler Nick Skinner.

This stretch of coast holds many stunning and interesting rock formations and locations. This one coined as “Sierra Nevada Rock” by Panoramio photographer “Suprdave420”. Getting here is half the fun, even at low tide a bit of scaling razor-sharp rocks and not falling into the ocean is involved.

Portsea Ocean Beach, Mornington Peninsula National Park, Victoria, Australia.

This is fantastic Sean, and worth the effort to get there. A very interesting rock, and with that blazing sky beyond, a great result.

Wow Sean, you’ve got all the colours in a wheel in this one …. (I was going to list them but we all know what they are.) Stunning silhouette of the rocks against the colourful sky and it’s reflected in the foreground water too. I love this, definite FAVE my friend.
