London, United Kingdom.
Having Westminster station a quick 3-minute tube ride from our hotel was a blessing on our last day in London.
I descended the now-familiar steps at Southwark and hopped on the already crowded Jubilee line west towards the city at 5:30am, intent on capturing the city before the crowds descended. Initially I’d had the idea to try and capture the city’s iconic red double-decker busses in transit, but the light traffic flow and short light cycles made this impossible. So I decided to head in another direction, capturing the busses and black caps driving by in front of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
As the sun began to rise and flatten the harsh city lights, and packed my bag with frozen fingers and headed back to the train.
