EDUCATION=USER PAY! $20,000 per annum was the norm… (Rudd did abolish the full fee place for locals at Higher Ed (still a HESC system which is a hefty %), but Victoria introduced it at TAFE (technical education). and we’re so complacent, every one thinks it’s a GREAT idea (“if they want to study why shouldn’t they pay?”) if it’s not a conversation about mortgages and interest rates, it’s taboo.
