A Berber Lady in her best Market Day dress – Chefchaouen, Morocco. Chefchaouen is a small, mainly Berber village, isolated in the Rif Mountains of Northern Morocco. The entire old section of the city is painted an irridescent blue.
Love the blue….we had a chap here in Western Australia who had the gaul to paint his house the most amazing blue…right on the sea front of a popular area….it was truly amazing…but people hated it and a lot of fuss was made. I loved it. He had come from one of the Mediterranean countries where bright colours are the norm….and with our wonderful light here in WA it was just perfect… This is a wonderful shot and I’ve really enjoyed looking at your work from this area :-) I look forward to seeing more.

The blue is beautiful and so is the candid capture with the alley leading our eyes further. Magical capture.
This looks like another scene from “Arabian Nights” ………. Great capture

Stunning image. The posture and details on the woman’s face tells a life story. A splendid image to be shared with the Art of the Middle East group
