A Vicuna with Volcan Parinacota in the background – Lauca National Park, Chile. The Vicuna is the most delicate of the South American cameloids – it’s wool is reputed to be the finest and most expensive in the world. Lauca is a magnificent, high altitude park located in far Northern Chile. It straddlles the Chile-Bolivia border.
Oh you had the weather, but even so, this is a wonderful capture with the vicuna in the foreground! Amazing reflection too! Isn’t this a wonderful place?

You have some interesting photographs Michael, I like this one too he looks cheeky. The mountains really set it off, almost Japanese looking.
Wow, stunning view. Wouldn’t I love to see this for myself! Chile looks so much like parts of Peru! Fabulous capture.
