ANSE SOURCE D'ARGENT - SEYCHELLES

Located in the Indian Ocean, 1000 miles off the East African Coast, the Seychelles are the world’s only mid-oceanic granite islands. The islands appear to be composed entirely of giant stone slabs. Many of the beaches are framed by piles of boulders, haphazardly arranged in giant heaps and worn smooth by eons of wind and waves. This is Anse Source d’Argent on La Digue Island.

ANSE SOURCE D'ARGENT - SEYCHELLES belongs to the following groups:

*Islands of The World* - Photography Only, 3/day limit, Landscape Photography, PEACE, LOVE & TRANQUILITY, Shifting Sands and Tropical Art Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Beautiful image of a popular La Digue beach…when I was there the light was bad, the sands were covered with sunbathers and the water was churned up. :)) Oh well, life is still good.

Thanks, whalegeek – it’s a late afternoon shot. Of course there’s no way to get that information. We made the long slog in the morning, but had to return later. Regards – MS
