Life & Death in my backyard by

Sitting in my suburban backyard…suddenly a lot of noise in the bushes….a sparrow hawk caught a bird and started tearing at his feathers… a gruesome and inevitable drama unfolding….the bird was too heavy for him to fly over the fence… i tried to walk up to him, when he let go…but the pray was in bad condition, so i backed up again to let him get to it again…to let him finish with what he had started…Nature did take his course :(
