Fabulous candid that makes one think there’s a story there. They have probably been married for many years. Both somewhere else – maybe she is thinking of better days. Amazing – I love the way the light falls on her – everything about it. Instant fav :o)
Great capture . Expression is saying a lot . She has already finished her ice cream , as she has always done it at her home . She is tired and she is not enjoying seeing her life passing by…. Beautifully done and told your photo. Compliments.
Compliments to you imaginative powers … LOL..thanks Anisja
I love photos like this beauty, which invite narrative. Each of us will write his/own, which may or may not touch on the truth of this moment. For me I see…Many people, especially older people who have retired, have empty nests and not much to occupy their time, create rituals in their lives, events to help fill days. This may be the “Saturday sundae ritual”. Although they may help to fill the void, they often lack the joy which attaches to truly spontaneous acts. I think she knows this. I think she is casting about for something else at this moment…Her glass, after all, is empty…
You are à poet ! your text explains it all. We should make à photobook :)))
