The weather is beautiful at the moment so I took my granddaughter Farrah for a walk along the banks of the River Foyle, following the narrow gauge railway line all the way to the border with Donegal. The reflections on the water are from the buildings in the Waterside area of the city. It was only when I uploaded the image that I noticed the bird standing on a bit of seaweed. You might wonder how I did’nt see a bird but the sun was so bright I just took the photograph. I could have been really unlucky and photographed a supermarket trolley which someone had thrown into the river just a short distance away.
