Artist's Description

The Flor de Nochebuena which means Christmas Eve Flower is native to Mexico. We know this beautiful plant as the Poinsettia which was named after Joel Roberts Poinsett who is honoured on December 12.
I wanted to take a picture of my poinsettia as it will probably be dead by the morning and I would like a picture to remind me that I actually bought one.
Many of you will be able to maintain your beautiful plants long into the new year and beyond but sadly I can never do this, but for the short time that they grace my living room I intend to enjoy the glorious colour.
Long live your poinsettia.
Seasonal greetings to all you wonderful RedBubblers
