Wonderful image Joyce. Just love this. A very strong reminder of images I have captured in the city of Old Montreal and in the city of Old Quebec (some posted under my Windows collection). Someting about the French, and in this case, the Italian…….. flowers beneath window sills……. a form of romanticism???…… whatever it is…. it is beautiful….. and I don’t question it………. Great eye Joyce.
Thank you Hany…………I sometimes think you need heat and old walls to create the romantic look of old windows and window boxes…………….the type of houses we have in Ireland tend not to lend themselves to this type of feature, sadly…………it is only in very recent times that we have been able to remove the mesh shutters which kept out petrol bombs…………….lol……………………..but that is another story with an incredible amount of Irish humour attached to it………………..I will go to your windows later Hany and check out Old Montreal……………this is the area of one of my favourite artists in the entire world…………….the majestic Rufus Wainwright if I am not mistaken…………correct me if I am wrong………lots of warm thoughts from Ireland……………………Joyce!!
Beautiful shot, dear Joyce. A little touch of sunshine is just what we need now. x
Thank you my friend…………….it is a horrible evening Agnes…………we really need to fit coffee in very soon……………….maybe the beginning of the week………………….I will send you a message……………Joyce……………xx
