A very cool gas station. Nice colors….
a much belated “Thank you!”
– Susan Russell
Thank you for featuring this photo. Sorry it took me so long to reply.
Here is my question,, is this photo shopped from and image you found, is it your own photography you played with,, or did you paint this,,, I question because, I find it intriguing and beautiful,, just would like too know more about the image than what you give us in your description,, art is art,, but would be nice too know ,, how your art transforms,, peace and love LINMARIE
So sorry for the late reply. I took this photo close to sundown. This station is only about 2 miles from where I live. All I did to it was put it in Photopaint and layer several copies of it using various tweaks and merging the copies. It is a real photo.
It was a photo. I did some fine tuning with the color, but I don’t have Photoshop.
What a fantastic gas station even though it’s abandoned. Wish we had stuff like this here in the UK so I could capture it a beautifully as this is Susan. Fantastic work, now a favourite.
Sorry I took so long to say "Thank you!’ – There are a lot of buildings made out of stone & petrified wood in the area where I live in Texas.
thanks for answering my questions,, it is such a beautiful piece,, everything you did makes it look like a painting,, I find it so intriguing and beautiful,, what a great find,, love it,, linmarie
Thanks so much!
Thank you very much!
