stratification (strāt’ə-fĭ-kā’shən) n.

1. Formation or deposition of layers
2. The condition of being stratified.
3. A layered configuration.

This is an idea, albeit a simple one, that I have had for awhile. A kind of representation of the layers we can develop during life. Layers that can represent many different things, both good and bad, but in the end make us who we are.
