Mary Jane

You didn’t call,
You didn’t want to.
You were always busy,
Or had something to do.
You don’t understand,
The feeling of pain,
Knowing that you left me,
For Mary Jane.

I don’t understand how you could be so cruel as to take my love.
You engulfed him in a puff of smoke,
Taking him to a world where I could not reach him.

You didn’t call,
You didn’t want to.
I hope you and Mary Jane are very happy together.

Part Poem, Part Diary Maybe?

Be gentle, it’s my first time… Sharing a poem that is.

I’ve never been one to express my feelings in any way other than turning extremely red in the face and yelling. This works better, I think.
