i was so happy
i thought you were waiting for me

i thought you had forgiven me
forgotten everything that you blame me for
forgotten i denied the truth

but you just stood there

didnt run up
didnt say its okay
didnt forgive me

so i stand here
feeling seperated
feeling wrong

who thought that i could get so much joy
then so much sadness
from a simple thought like that?
