does anyone else find it hard to vote on a challenge where there are over 300 entries in the challenge? Who really has time to scroll through every photo, and then scroll back to the one that you liked?
i think that there should be a limit on how many entries should be in a challenge at any one time. perhaps 50 is reasonable. Any more then that and i think people will just vote for one of the first ones they see. I know that there are some big groups out there, with like 700 members, but if they all enter a challenge, how can voters look objectively at every one?
does anyone else have a problem with this, or is it just me? probably just me…

yes, some kind of search system, or at least a better way of displaying the entries should be implemented. like little thumbnails in groups of 20, instead of scrolling one by one. Would make it much better!

I agree also…….but not only with the fact that it’s really time consuming……I often wonder how many “voters” give up before making it half-way through the entries? So I assume that there would be many entries that don’t even get looked at, let alone voted on.
Definitely agree on the “limit the number of entries” idea.

Maybe not RB directly……but perhaps to the Admins of the Groups? Couldn’t hurt…..and if they disagree, then we’re no worse off than we are now.

OK you guys are going to hate me!!! But what I do is scroll through and vote for every image I think is fabulous/outstanding! That may mean I vote on between 3 and 6 images per challenge depending of the size of the challenge……. But as you say I would not be prepared to scroll back and forth several times. I am not the only person who votes for more than one image! Still it probably isn’t ethical, but I wouldn’t vote otherwise!

I didn’t realise that you could vote for more than 1 photo!! Don’t most of the guidelines suggest to “vote for your favourite”? If that’s the case then it wouldn’t be all that bad. But if you were only allowed to choose the one….then 300+ is a bit of an ask.
