People seem to like when I say how I get my shots, so I will keep up with it!
We went to the roof of a shopping centre carpark to shoot this series. It was WHITE, it was HOT, it was windy and it was…EXTREMELY HOT! We now all look like beetroots, we’re so red. I made the mistake of lying down on the HOT CONCRETE for about 10 mins for a series of shots. :( But it was worth it!
All lighting is natural, no reflectors were used. This shot was one of the last in the day. ‘Chelsea, get in the trolly!’ I make my models do very uncomfortable things sometimes. What’s the worst thing you have made someone do in order to get the best photo? I want to hear your stories :D
And as always, comments are always appreciated.

I LOVE THIS AND….. YOU ? ABOUT WHAT DID YOU MAKE YOUR MODEL DO.. AS I PUT MINE THROUGH THE RINGER JUST BY WORKING WITH ME. A. I NEVER STOP (BREAKS ARE NOT ME),AND PUSHING THEM TO GET THE LOOK I WANT TO THE POINT OF DOING SOME STRANGE THINGS / LOOKS). I HAVE HAD ONLY ONE NO WAY FROM EVERY MODEL. WHICH IS TO SHOOT AT AN ABANDONED ASLYM THAT IS TOO COOL AND SPOOKY FOR WORDS. EVERYONE KNOWS WHY IT CLOSED. HENCE NO ONE WANTS TO BE THERE BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY DID TO THE CHILDREN THERE. WHICH I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY. BUT I WANT TO BRING MORE EXPOSURE TO WHAT HAPPENED,, SO NOW I SIT AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CAPTURE IT WITH OUT A MODEL /MODELS.
SO I GUESS AS OF TODAY THE MOST I HAVE PUSHED ONE IS THE SERIES WE DID IN THE WATER WHERE IT WAS IN THE 30’S OUTDOORS WITH ICE ON THE WATER. AND SHE ENDED UP WITH A GASH FROM ONE OF THE SHARP PIECE OD ICE THAT WERE FLOATING IN THE WATER.
