London calling in the morning

My design for the London calling contest.
A bit of an odd one on my part. It didn’t quite turnout as it appeared in my head, but it is quite close to it.

I was thinking of a few more landmarks, but I didn’t want it appearing like a tourist “been there done it” t-shirt, so limited it in the end to just having Tower Bridge in the foreground. I also wanted to put a bit of the 2012 style graphics in, so kept shapes simple.
It shows a “The War of the Worlds” type tripod (I know I have 4 legs on it) sound system speaker calling in the new day. The connection with the “Tripod” & The War of the Worlds is that the original was set in & around London, not like the Hollywood film version with Tom Cruise.
Tower Bridge I did in a similar style as my Purple City Nights

    I was looking at this and thinking – “Hey its war of the worlds using bass” and then I read your description. Your design works. Well done.
