Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada

Built in 1958, this Alberta Wheat Pool grain elevator was saved from demolition in 1995 and has been restored. At one time there were three elevators in Spruce Grove and now this is the last wooden elevator to be seen travelling west on the Yellowhead Highway.

The city has a population of 24,000 people and is located 11 km west of Edmonton.
