This image of Charlie Parker was commissioned as a major poster for the North Sea Jazz Festival 2000. (It is the largerst jazz festival in the world). Charlie lived hard and had a short life. This depicts a rare time in his life when things were good and he was ‘in the pink’. A woman from the Netherlands came to a party at my house last year, and recognized this painting immediatly.

This work is now represented by my daughter, Felicity Hope Coddington. Originals are predominately done in acylic. The colors are blended and arranged by the hand of a master and the attitude is always encouraging and hopeful as I was inspired by children every day. You may yet see original work by visting my daughter’s gallery in Dunedin, FL (near Tampa & St. Petersburg) or you may order from Felicity personally by calling 727-953-0503. Thanks for your interest.
