Materials used in all these works (including “heart broken”, published ages ago) include champagne chalk, carparol medium for mixing (that’s a transparent goo that looks like wallpaper glue but works better), powder pigments, isopropyl alcohol (I use 100% – dangerous stuff, however! Gin and vodka work too, but careful who gets fortified most!), linseed oil (encourages the cracks), acrylic paints and lots of varnish.
