    A very good pic. and scan FM.
    Are you sure it is a gum blossom.
    It looks very much like a Proteaceae.

  • I do not understand even the simplest of plant naming, so If it reminds me of something I put the name on it. If I am lucky someone who knows the craft will suggest a name and I am happy to accept it. This was a slide which was not annotated at the time so I will change the name.
