1970s K190 excursion train at Eltham by

I came across 4 Kodacolor negatives in a box. There is no date on them, and I have no memory of tyhe event, but from the type of film I think it was probably in the 1970’s

Spend most of my time with images of yesterday (or before), but enjoy use of the Pentax K3 when possible.

Great capture. You don’t see some of these any more.

  • They look different today, but do they keep better time.

what a great shot! To get all these old trains in one picture, wow!

  • When I took this there was only one old engine and the guards van which went with it. The others were all state of art trains. Some may still be running with a new coat of paint.

A nice discovery, Fred, and still in excellent condition, too!

  • Thanks for your comment. It didn’t look too good before I worked on it.

A great old railway scene! My fave!

  • Thank you for your interest. I loved steam, cos I travelled on it when I was a kid.

So did we of course. One should have taken lots of pictures at the time!
