1998 Senecio gregorii Mt Connor lookoutby Fred Mitchell
102 Views 20120118
This is on the hill behind the Mount Connor look out. There was no grass, but scattered flowering plants, and red red soil. The nearest thing to grass is spinifex the sharpest pointiest thing yoy can bump into but there is none in this photo.
Taken with Pentax Z1p camera and Sigma 28 – 80 mm zoom lens on Kodachrome 200 film.

It’s amazing how those lovely flowers can survive in such harsh conditions. Great shot, FM.
Thank you. The rains come, the flowers grow, bloom, seed, and die in a matter of weeks.
