One of the shots on my first roll of Kodachrome 6 ASA. (I think it was 6 ASA and the original, not the selective Kodachrome which followed later) Holding still was a problem as exposure in bright sunlight was still about 1/25 second. Most of them showed image movement.
All this area has been flooded by the Hume Weir and is just desolation today when the water goes down, as it has for about the last twelve years.

Spend most of my time with images of yesterday (or before), but enjoy use of the Pentax K3 when possible.

Its so very hard to believe this 1949 N.E Victoria…Most works back then where B&W how marvellous you have these images… Thanks heaps for sharing this one.

  • Thank you. I have family shots of that time but unfortunately not taken on Kodachrome an they have faded.
