Eros Picadilly Circus London 1957 by

It was not the statue which took my eye, but the people hanging around. I had expected a spot in the centre of a street crossing with cars zipping all directions while Eros stood supreme, and aloof over all around. There waere no traffic lights, just a lazy air ti what to do.

Spend most of my time with images of yesterday (or before), but enjoy use of the Pentax K3 when possible.

Great shot, FM. Got one from an almost identical viewpoint, I think, from back in 1999. Still crowded, but the background has changed a little.

  • Thanks.
