Paris End of Collins Street Melbourne 1957 by

Someone even had time to sit and read a paper. This was about 7.30 am, and there was still not much traffic in the city area. A Melbourne tram is on the right of the picture. The building in the background was built in the days of the gold rush in the 1800’s when rich people also lived at this end of the street.

Spend most of my time with images of yesterday (or before), but enjoy use of the Pentax K3 when possible.

Lovely memories from bygone days. It all looks so unhurried and peaceful.

  • They were less hurried days. Time to read a newspaper before going to work.
