Early morning Collins Street 195701 by

Early morning in 1957 was classed as about 7.30 am. There was only light traffic (most people went to work by tram or train), and the few people on the street were mostly changing means of transport. Melbourne had a centralised traffic network with very few circular routes around Melbourne. People would come into Melbourne Central by train and then catch a tram to a work area which did not have a train service. This was why I got so many pictures of Melbourne streets early or late in the day.

Spend most of my time with images of yesterday (or before), but enjoy use of the Pentax K3 when possible.
