1998 Sturt Desert Pea Clianthus formosus Marla
This was the only plant we have seen of this plant outside tended gardens. It was beside the road near Marla, and the colour stood out against the dull greens around it.
Taken with Pentax Z1p camera and Sigma 28 – 80 mm zoom lens on Kodachrome 200 film.

Good shot, FM. Sturt Pease are notorious in terms of getting a decent shot, possibly due to their bright red appearance and a tendancy to “bleed”. This is certainly one of the superior shots that I have seen.
