Childhood dreams of Steam 1960
Wodonga was the Victorian Broad gauge terminus near the Victoria-New South Wales break of gauge. There were a lot of goods trains moving around the yards. My son was just as keen as I was to get close, but wisdom suggested we should both look from a distance. This meant that he was not close enough to the train, but it was safer that way.
