Fallen From Eden

Another shot of the same Japanese maple tree as in Eden I at the Portland Oregon Japanese Gardens, except this one was shot exactly one week after. It is amazing how fast seasons can change :) As is.

This is nice. I shot from this exact same perspective a couple of years ago, but the exposure wasn’t quite right and I didn’t use AEB. You may have seen that this same shot (with colors manipulated) was in a color management software advertisement in PC Photo Magazine. I was a little surprised that so many photographers would come up with the same idea.

  • failingjune replied

    That’s a bit surprising.
Too bad your shot didn’t turn out :( Perhaps you could reshoot?
Thank you for the comment :)

I am amazed at what a difference a week can make. I am also amazed how beautifully you captured both shots, each one with it’s own likeable features. I prefer this one though. More colour.

  • failingjune replied

Thank you. I was amazed as well. I returned the week after expecting the autumnal colors from Eden I but was amazed to see the more spring colors of this one :) I’m glad you like it!
