best wishes
This is a favourite of mine, of all the ones I’ve ever taken. Not for the quality or technique at all because it’s quite average but more for the overall feel of it (for me). My friend is writing in a Congratulations card for our best friend, at her engagement. She means the world to us both and this is going in her wedding album.
Shot using a Holga and Ilford film, no post processing.

I cant believe no one has commented on this yet! I really love this shot. It is beautifully composed, lit and finished – this one is going straight to my favourites. Well done.

Thanks so much Simon, I appreciate it :)

If no one buys this shot its a travesty – I think you should submit a work like this to a stock agency if you haven’t already.

how do you get the number printed? digitally?
Una Bazdar replied
Hi :) No, not digitally, this was shot using a Holga camera, medium format film. I just rolled the film back quite loosely when it was done and gave it a couple of squeezes to let some light in, which created the light leaks and the numbers were a bit of a happy accident :)
Una Bazdar
Oh and the numbers are film frame indicator numbers
sasufi
yeah right, I knew it was holga, I knew theses were the indicator once, but coudn’t tell how you manage to get them on the image.
cool accident. i like it

nice work. I’m also impressed by your courage of doing anything risky to film taken at a friend’s engagement!
