People in Germany spend between 120 and 150 Million Euros per year to welcome the New Year. The photos that I took yesterday in Heidelberg look bizarre. And so was the whole atmosphere. Groups of people screaming and jumping, uncontrolled, behaving like maniacs. 150 Million Euros to have a couple of minutes to switch off your brains. Scenes of a “civilized country”… Poor country.

I very much like you description. What you described about Germany also takes place in the United States. A very telling image you have taken. Would you enter it into the group “Life in the City, Suburbs, or Bush”. A fav

Your title drew me into flipping to your description…….yes the world is filled with crazy things…..what madness…….same thing happened here in Sydney….I don’t know how much they spent on fireworks but it’s crazy. We have a evil Prime Minister too. Just like Obama.
