Well it was a miserable day outside yesterday so I started experimenting with the water droplet thing and the high speed sync on my speedlite (which does not get used as much as I would like).
I thought this image resembled a chess piece (pawn) so had a bit of a play with it and this is what I ended up with…
Canon EOS 7D; Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens @ 100mm; 1/6400 sec @ f/4.0; ISO 100, Canon 580EX II Speedlite, hand held torch, tripod. Processed in Adobe Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5.
