sudden words

May 15th, 2008

When out of the blue, the smell of the sun shines on me
Then out of the blue, I feel no possible escape
When out of the blue, the heat of your voice touches me
Then out of the blue, my stomach aches
When out of the blue, the smiles of your tears drown me
Then out of the blue, all my hopes break
When out of the blue, the feel of your skin bleeds in me
Then out of the blue, I’m in a terrible shape
When out of the blue, the memories of you seize me
And when out of the blue, moving on feels like an earthquake
Then I realise that I have black and white and colours
Then I realize that I have all these shapes as wonders
I still have my eyes, my hands and my fingers to paint
I still have my guts, my heart, and I feel no restraint
Crucify me, crucify me, bleed me with your thorns
Crucify me and I can be reborn.
