Pat, I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, and I will probably say it again….How do you get something crazy and wild like a house fly, to stay still for a super closeup like this. Me… I would put superglue on their feet and stick them on some colored paper, then gas them to put them to sleep.

lol Adam, I just wait patiently till they settle and move in very very slowly hiding behind my camera. This lass was sitting on a pink Hydrangia petal and taken at close range hence the lack of DOF in the background :)
