I took this HDR image during a stay at the Crystal Cove Beach Cottages, which are located inside the Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach, California.

Authentically furnished and themed to reflect its distinctive history, each Individual Cottage tells a compelling story about its unique past and the colorful characters that peopled it.

Every cottage has been restored to its 1935 to ’55 condition with the textiles, furnishings, and fashions of that period to bring you back in time to a bygone era of Southern California history.

This three exposure image (+2, 0, -2) was shot with a Nikon D90 and 18-105mm lens @ f/11, 1/160 sec, ISO 200 with a circular polarizer. Shot was taken hand held and processed with Photomatix and Photoshop.
