Eddie Yerkish

Hello and welcome!! I am a husband to a wonderful wife and a Father to two of the most adorable children on the planet. My initial interest in photography was as one of those parents that took way too many pictures of their kids. As fun as that was (and still is), I decided I wanted to take on a different challenge.

I invested in some formal education and what was once just a hobby quickly became a passion and that passion has helped me become an award winning photographer. I have won multiple ribbons from the Los Angeles and Orange County Fairs and was declared a Finalist in the 31st Annual Spring Photography Contest for Photographer’s Forum Magazine. Most recently, I won first place in the photography division for the Pomona Valley Art Association’s 30th annual juried art show. My work has been featured on the website for Popular Photography Magazine, Proud Photography.com, Red Bubble.com, Flickr and various blogs. I have also exhibited my work at several locations throughout Southern California and I am scheduled to start exhibiting my work at the SoHo Gallery in Pomona, California in early 2012. In addition, I have had my work published in “Best of Photography 2011”, a coffee table book put together in association with Photographer’s Forum Magazine, as well as ‘Catalina Island – Celebrating The Beauty Of The Island’, a coffee table book about beautiful Catalina Island, which is located off the Southern California coast. A current project will publish some more of my photos by World Wide Art Books some time in 2012.
