that’s the biggest jumping spider I ever saw… 3/4 inch! I even didn’t know it exist that size. specially here in Montreal. we learn every day!

  • this spider was very slow and lazy and surely not curious. funny because with photography, I learn more and more about small world under my feet. I notice something about jumping spiders… small ones are very curious, looking at me all the time just like on this picture and the one on my red dalhia if you remember. but big ones are not. before I found that one here, I saw another jumping on rocks area. a little smaller but red bum but with this one facing me, I went back a bit because I didn’t feel safe. nervous spider but not curious. never looked at me… I felt that I was invading his territory.
