Introducing Scoop Neck Tees and Unisex Tanks — FIND OUT MORE

i'll be taking the easy way out

if you want to reach me
i won’t be going anywhere
i am taking a vacation
but i won’t be going anywhere
i won’t be home
i’ll be taking the easy way out

you may send me letters
or whatever you do now
messages by digital smoke signals
over the seas of lies
but i won’t be listening
my ears will have rotted off
and my eyes will have been removed
by pencil tips
stuck all the way past the memories

i will be hanging from the stairway
the noose holding me fondly
like mothers’ cradling arms
about the broken bones of my neck

no more worry
no more remembering
