A hazy, late spring afternoon in May on a back road in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England looking towards the abbey. The quiet country lane winding it’s way past the still meadows which add a touch of colour to the countryside.

This was shot heading towards Whitby from the small village of Hawsker along the coast road.

    Thanks for that…it was a feat to actually take the photo. As I was setting up a bloke jumped out of his car with a camera and told me his life history and started asking me silly questions like “Are you in a camera club?” & “What model of tripod are you using?”
    – I kept my answers short and sweet, it went something like “Nope” and “A heavy one!”.....well I have turned 40 and as such I’m allowed to be grumpy!
