Pier Pressure

Looking out to sea from Whitby harbour, North Yorkshire, England on the evening of 18.05.08

This is one of my favourite shots, I like it’s simplicity, how the long exposure has given movement to the clouds and flattened out the sea.

Thanks a lot Helen…it’s my favourite so far as I hadn’t taken any long exposures before and I was pleased with how it turned out seen as it was so dark I could hardly focus on the piers!
