Similar to a photograph I reviewed of yours earlier and generally similar comments apply but here the surfer being alone in the picture gives a different feel to the scene. I like the action of him running towards the water. A picture very well composed that I appreciated.

the lines and different textures on the water ‘framed’ at the top by the pier with the surfer cutting through these lines makes this a shot one can look at for hours. it has action but yet is a very calming image!
