I’m not positive about the species, but it looks like a melaleuca to me. I know they have melaleucas in Costa Rica… Anyway, beautiful capture. I especially like the reddish hues to the bark which are enhanced by the red on the sand. Looks like an amazing place.

ECGardner, I looked up the name of the tree you gave me but somehow it doesn’t seem to fit the location. The tree is right on the water line I assume the salinity is high. but I’ll keep researching thank you for the help and if anybody else knows what the name of this tree, I will appreciate if you will let me know
