Zapata

An artist is drawing Emiliano Zapata Salazar, a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution, which broke out in 1910, and which was initially directed against the president Porfirio Díaz. He formed and commanded an important revolutionary force, the Liberation Army of the South. The paintings was done during the Imadonnari Italian street painting festival in Santa Barbara in 2008. The artist is an ex gang member that was ordered by the court to give back to the community and educate people and students about the negative impact of gangs on one’s life
