Quiet Forest by Dan Wilcox

Quiet Forest by

The morning mist burns away and reveals a patch of wildflowers at the forest edge. This is a very personal painting that I did overnight after leaving my wife in the hospital emergency ward. Almost trance-like, I painted and drank wine through ‘til dawn and laid down positivity with each brush stroke. The painting is in a private collection now and I’m sure it still sits and hums out the very best of vibrations. We were blessed with my wife’s complete recovery

About Dan Wilcox

I am the father of three and grandfather to seven. We live near the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada where old meets new and truly inspires any artist with its romantic settings. A retired graphic artist, I have returned to my first love : painting and my effort to regain the looseness and freedom of my early student days is sometimes limited by my strict, commercial illustrative style. this accounts for the range of styles throughout my collection.
