Aight…..today me and the photoclub people went to the last of the 5 floor-old-type buildings, that are going to be demolished tomorrow. Omg….It was something. People just moved out this week, and most of them left some personal belongings and furniture still, but all of the front doors along with some of the supporting walls, were wrecked by the builders . It was wierd…. entering different sort of rooms, which are stylized in an old, Soviet manner….when people were limited to more or less the same stuff……but then, all the flats and rooms are so unique and individual…. And it was really touching to see old appliences that i havent seen in years lol and old toys, the sort i used to play…vintage wallpapers…house tools, photoes, posters on the walls….Beautiful and different experience it was. Like visiting a ghost city or going back a decade.
Here…its just some VERY random but VERY typical objects and elements of interior design of The Soviet era.

looks like you might find a butterfly’s wing in that jar poetic
Actually yes..! Might also look like the plug and bottle are supposed to have some connetion intended, but im not even sure what i was thinking…just liked the whole feel to this scene and the colour tones. Very vintage.

Seeing this image made me wonder…Why did we waste the money and time with an arms race?
:)
It really should stop one day… or at least remain a political thing.

lovely still life :)
Lovely, looking forward to seeing more photos. It makes me sad when old buildings are demolished and replaced with modern sterile environments devoid of the layers of years it took to give life and character to them. I hope you took many photos and at least in this way have preserved a bit of the past for future generations.
