Malham Tree 02 - Yorkshire Dales, UK by Simon Lupton
Another one of the most photographed tree in the Yorkshire Dales ? Perhaps, but always worth the trip to the limestone pavement above Malham no matter what.
I arrived for dawn and was seriously disappointed by thick cloud, but waiting for an hour or so in the wind paid off handsomely as the sun broke through for a few precious minutes.

This is superb Simon. Your gift with B/W inspires me. I have only recently fell in love with B?W and have a lot to learn. Your images are wonderful.
I love how the eye looks at a monochrome image differently than a colour one. It seeks out smaller details (I find) whereas colour is a more overall and general experience.
